Job Responsibilities:
To visit export customers, to grow and maintain the current clientele.
Increase the company's market presence.
Understand client's business and requirements for more effective sales proposals.
To liaise with local staff and overseas agents on sales-related matters.
Coordinate, monitor, and prepare all freight-related submissions.
Monitor weekly aging list recap by the finance department.
To report on sales activities on a weekly and monthly basis.
To assist the immediate superior with any ad-hoc tasks assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.
Reports to:Senior Sales Manager
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Maritime Studies, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent.
Candidate with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Candidate from a shipping/logistics sales background will have an added advantage.
Aggressive, Independent, Team Player, Self-starter.
Able to speak and write good English.
Full-Time position(s) available in Penang.
