Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager with extensive experience in the insurance domain, particularly in health claims management and SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise sales, a deep understanding of the insurance landscape in Malaysia, and the ability to manage key accounts and drive new business growth. This role is critical for expanding our presence in the APAC region, particularly in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities 1. New Business Development (70%)
Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Actively seek new business opportunities within the insurance sector, with a focus on SaaS and health claims management solutions. Develop a robust sales pipeline and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative approach to understand client needs and provide tailored SaaS solutions that address specific business challenges in health claims management.
Market Expansion: Collaborate with the APAC team to develop strategies for expanding into new markets within Malaysia and the broader region.
2. Key Account Management (30%)
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at insurance companies, including CIOs, COOs, and Claims Managers. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Account Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase the share of wallet within existing accounts by introducing additional products and deepening client relationships.
Client Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues and ensuring that they are maximizing the value of Perfios's solutions.
3. Health Claims Expertise
Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of health claims management, including regulatory requirements and industry best practices, to advise clients on optimizing their claims processes.
Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Perfios's SaaS offerings and how they can be applied to improve health claims management for insurance clients.
4. SaaS Solution Sales
Technology Integration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure that SaaS solutions are seamlessly integrated into clients' existing systems and workflows.
Customization and Configuration: Assist clients in configuring SaaS solutions to meet their specific needs, ensuring a smooth implementation process.
5. Performance Management
Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue growth, client acquisition, and account retention.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and performance metrics for senior management. Use data to refine sales strategies and improve results.
Key Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 8 years in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years focused on the insurance domain, particularly in health claims management and SaaS solutions.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of health claims processes, insurance regulations, and SaaS technology. Experience with AI-driven solutions is a plus.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals with large enterprise clients.
Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Travel: Willingness to travel within Malaysia and occasionally across the APAC region.
