About the RoleWe're looking for a self-starting professional with extensive sales experience and a network in the relevant industry and market.
This person will play a key role as the sole contact point for all incoming/outgoing sales and related activities in Penang, covering Malaysia as a whole.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and marketing activities, communicating closely with key customers at multiple levels and across functions in the Company.
He/she must proactively create new business opportunities while maintaining close relationships with key strategic partners and gathering market intelligence to analyze current market and competitor situations.
Main Roles and ResponsibilitiesIn charge of Distributors & Global EMS in Malaysia as Account Manager, reporting to the Sales head in the Singapore office.
Conduct market surveys, gathering competitors' market information and reporting to HQ and regional office for formulating appropriate sales strategies.
Quarterly RFQ negotiation for share up with assigned customers.
SAM increase from all assigned customers Global Commodity Manager (GCM) & Sourcing Manager/Team.
Proposal of new Design Ins from G-EMS R&D sites.
Developing new customer and new product diversification opportunities with all assigned distributors, especially in Penang.
Periodic strategic reporting to HQ & management.
Full assistance to Customer Service to expedite delivery.
Regular customer meetings at least once a week and business trip support.
RequirementsA level of diploma or higher education, preferably in the field of engineering/electronics/business.
Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience in the related field/industry.
Self-motivated & sales target oriented.
Ability to demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal skills, including effective collaboration and communication skills.
Well-developed facilitation skills to work among individuals from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
Developed judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated time management skills to accomplish short- and long-term assignments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
