About the Role:
As ourInside Sales Support Intern , you will play a crucial role in researching, generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential leads.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in sales within the multinational travel technology company.
As part of this internship with Amadeus, you will:
Research and analyze sales options:
Conduct in-depthresearchon industry trends, competitor's activities, challenges & position in the industry.
Preparereportsby collecting, analyzing and summarizing traveler data information.
Leverage research findings to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales leads and opportunities.
Build professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, and benchmarking exercises.Commercial Sales Activities & Sales Support:
Assist Sales team inpreparing proposals , presentation, case studies and sales material using research insights.
Review andmaintain CRM Systemwith updated client and opportunity data.
Engage with Prospects:Initiate outbound calls to company-generated leads, building trust and rapport with customers to foster long-term relationships.
Support team in managing customer escalations.
Assist team with the administrative work for upselling Hospitality, Travel Packages, content and IT solutions.About the Ideal Candidate:
Experience in research and analysis, preferably related to travel industry but not a must.
Strong communication and customer care skills.
Good understanding of Sales and Customer Service Lifecycle.
Passion and high-level interest in Sales & Business Development.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related fields.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
