on minimum wages, minimum benefits, and all statutory deductions.Ensuring employment contracts are updated and standardized with risk-mitigating clauses to protect company's interests and values.Internal HR policiesEnsuring that all HR policies are updated and published.Ensuring that we comply with all laws in our HR policies.Transformation & Employment AdvisoryAct as employment law specialist/subject matter expert in relation to transformation activities especially if involving reduction of workforce.Engage business heads and key stakeholders to provide input on employment laws and provide risk-mitigating alternatives/strategies.
Freelance ManagementProvide managerial and strategic support to the Freelance Unit, comprising of assessment of exceptions to policies, amendment to practices and process improvements.Managing internal stakeholders on freelance and talent requirements.Ensuring compliance to internal processes and external legal obligations on recruiting independent contractors for work.Governance of ESG & Special ProjectOwner of ESG representative for Human Capital focusing on the Social pillarOwnership of the organization's inclusion and diversity approach, as well as educating teams on unconscious bias in recruiting along with promoting inclusive behaviour within the workplace.Responsible to ensure company job ad appropriate and inclusive language and keeping up to date with local and national workplace laws, as well as human rights policies.Keep up to date with, and maintain compliance with, national policies that are focused on inclusion in the workplace.Create company policies and guidelines that address harassmentBe responsible for tracking inclusivity metrics.Who You AreAround 10 years experience in managing full spectrum of IR work including in leadership roles in managing an internal IR team.In-depth knowledge of industrial relations processes including the conciliation at the (Industrial Relations Dept), the Industrial Court, as well as the Civil Courts.Negotiation and counselling skills for internal people management.""
