Scrum Master (12 Months Contract)

Summary:
Responsible for leading Agile practices within the team, ensuring efficient delivery by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing obstacles, and fostering collaboration.
This role supports the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and coaching the team in Agile principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement agile methodology, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
Determine, monitor, and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
Schedule and facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and other meetings.
Monitor progress and performance, helping teams to make improvements.
Plan business workshops, organize demos, and conduct product/system testing.
Manage dependencies between vendor deliverables and scrum team delivery plans.
Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, and effective communication.
Ensure the proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments for the scrum team.
Track project processes, deliverables, and financials.
Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders.
Work with Scrum Team and stakeholders to influence decision-making and support organizational project or product teams.
Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal delivery teams to ensure pragmatic delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
Prior experience as a Scrum Master delivering IT projects.
Experience as a project manager.
Experience in financial services/insurance is highly regarded.
Prior experience in web technologies and APIs is highly regarded.
Courses and certifications in Project Management and/or Scrum methodology.
Strong knowledge of using JIRA for managing projects.
Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies.
