Position Overview:
Epsom College in Malaysia seeks to appoint a well-qualified, passionate and dedicated Second Master as the operational leader in a growing 3-18 boarding school.
Key Purpose of the Role:
Support the Head of School in delivering the school's vision and strategic priorities across all key stages (3-18).
Drive excellence in teaching, learning, and academic outcomes through consistent and innovative practices.
Ensure the well-being, safeguarding, and holistic development of all students, day or boarding.
Lead and manage staff effectively, fostering professional growth and high performance.
Oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring efficiency and resource optimisation.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote a cohesive and inclusive school community.
The ideal candidate is:
A visionary leader with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
An excellent communicator with first-class interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
A strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
And has:
A deep understanding of the developmental and educational needs of children from ages 3 to 18.
An excellent track record of leadership in a secondary school and, ideally, proven leadership experience in a 3-18 setting or across multiple phases.
A strong track record of raising standards in teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Experience teaching and living in a boarding school.
