Section Manager (Metal Finishing)

Responsible for efficiently operating the Metal Finishing (MF) process and control systems to meet production, departmental, and company goals. Lead and guide the Process Technicians and Lab team to maintain process control and perform troubleshooting.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport Metal Finishing operations to achieve departmental KPIs, including Quality, Cycle Time, Safety, and Cost.Monitor and maintain process parameters, chemical logs, and quality metrics.Ensure equipment and processes operate according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Conduct engineering studies, investigations, and ad hoc tasks as assigned.Communicate issues and concerns to immediate superior, QA, and customers, ensuring appropriate corrective actions.Coordinate and manage customer and internal audits.Liaise with both internal and external customers on process-related matters.Develop and improve MF processes for new product packages as required.Lead process, quality, and cost improvement projects.Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.Job RequirementsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.Experience Relevant experience in plating processes within the semiconductor industry.Familiarity with chemical environments, including legal requirements for chemical handling.Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of international JEDEC/IPC electroplating standards.Certifications/Licensing Not required.Personality TraitsStrong leadership skills and ability to work as a team player.Independent, proactive, and diligent in follow-ups.Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
