With over 86,000 clients in 193 countries, BSI is an organization whose standards inspire excellence across the globe.We currently have an exciting opportunity and are looking to recruit aSector Lead for Digital TrustAbout the roleWe have key positions available for this role as a Sector Lead in Digital Trust to build a strong team of professionals at a country level.Applicants will be part of a dynamic team of specialists involved in conducting various types of audits and tutoring and to work closely with BSI clients to help them improve their performance by assessing their systems and processes against ISO and BSI standards. Your key responsibilities in this role will be to:Provide Digital Trust/Information Resilience sector understanding of ISO27001, ISO27017, ISO27018, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO22301, Cloud Security, PCI-DSS, etc., and relevant national and international information security and IT service standards.
Establish regular communication with global/regional sector champions for updates and be well aware of any products or schemes offered by the sector.
Assist in developing and executing GTM plan for market penetration with a thorough market analysis on a regular basis and engage the sector in community market events such as seminars, conferences, exhibitions, training, etc.
Support and/or prepare localization of contents and approaches for the sector at the country level.
Embark on any local initiatives by global/region for any new schemes/accreditations.
Play a pivotal role in auditing organizations or products against the relevant national and international information security and IT service standards.
Conduct training activities, both public and in-house, to related ISO Standards or client-specific requirements as defined by the sector strategy and/or area of expertise.
Support the development and delivery of training materials for the sector and client-specific for internal and external stakeholders including auditors and clients.
Support development of BSI Auditors and Tutors, ensuring capacity and capability building training plans for the Digital Trust sector are implemented and deliver adequate professional resource development.
Assist in identifying resource capacity mapping and planning on the sector for both Auditor/Tutor/Sales personnel.About youTo be successful in this role you need to thrive in a process-driven, fast-paced, customer-focused environment and have the ability to make impartial decisions, quickly and efficiently, based on facts. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and can remain calm whilst managing numerous priorities. Good IT and systems skills are essential.You will also be required to have:
Professional education or training to an equivalent level of university education level in Information Technology/Computer Science/Cyber Security or similar field preferred or have a further education diploma with proven experience in information technology services, and information security.
Experience in working in full-time practical workplace experience in information technology (minimum experience of 4 years in industry with at least two years in a role or function relating to Information Technology and/or Information Security).
Existing a qualified Lead Auditor/Auditor for any related 3rd party or industry requirements would be an added advantage. Experience in conducting and delivering assessments on schemes such as ISO20000-1, ISO27001, CLOUD Security, etc. is essential and would be an added advantage.
Proven knowledge of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of management system standards.
Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge to be able to interpret the language of the Client organization.
Learning ability to keep up with changes to the business, industry, management thinking, and developing assessment styles.
Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills, as well as energy, passion, and commitment.It is essential that you are qualified in a minimum of three (3) of the below standards. This is a pre-requisite to be considered for these roles:
ISO 27001 (ISMS)
ISO 20000-1 (SMS)
ISO 22301 (BCMS)
Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
