Senior Accountant

Job Description Responsibilities: - Management of day-to-day accounting operations of the CompanyMonthly preparation of full set management and financial accounts including audit schedules and bank reconciliationsInternal control checks including conducting stock take.Prepare and review daily journal entriesWork with external auditors, tax agents on audit, annual tax returns and tax related mattersTo perform financial budgeting and forecasting, management and statutory reportingTimely closing accountsResponsible for financial analysis and management reportingAssist in Internal Controls Perform other ad-hoc financial or analytical work as required Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of full set accounting experiencePossess minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance / AccountingMust be an MIA memberKnowledge of recent Malaysian Financial Reporting StandardsHighly skilled in Microsoft OfficeGood administration and good communication skills, in both verbal and written EnglishReliable and meticulousAble to work independently as well as in a team environmentGood-to-haves: Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPossess professional accounting qualification eg. ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, CPA
