ResponsibilitiesResponsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing in accordance with Group corporate policies, local policy and comply to latest accounting standard.
Perform duties to support the accurate recording of fixed asset activity (monthly depreciation, additions, and retirements) as well as perform periodic reconciliations and roll forwards.
Develop and analyze information to assess the current and future financial status of the Company, monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting cash flow forecast.
Perform analytical review of P & L and balance sheet and trend analysis.
Liaise with internal and external auditors, statutory bodies, company secretarial, bankers and other consultants for audit / financial and banking matters.
Prepare quality ad-hoc reporting as requested.
Able to lead the month-end close process and the preparation of the monthly balance sheet and income statement along with related budget control.
Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and collaborate with respective teams to resolve issues.
Perform and update any report or listing related to taxation transactions.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
RequirementsDegree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA / CPA / CIMA).
Minimum 6 years experience in a senior accounting role, those with experience in audit firms will have an added advantage.
Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Good analytical skills, with the ability to analyze problems and visualize appropriate solutions.
Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office, preferably with experience in SAP.
Good sense of responsibility and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
