About the Role
Janamuda Sdn Bhd, a dynamic e-commerce company, is looking for an experienced and detail-orientedSenior Accounts Executiveto join our growing finance team. Based in our office in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, this full-time role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, handling payroll and tax matters, and supporting HR-related processes. What You'll Be Doing
Full-Set Accounting
Handle full set of accounts, including journal entries, monthly accounts, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with relevant financial regulations.
Generate detailed financial reports and analyses to support management in decision-making.
Payroll Management
Oversee and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, and income tax submissions.
Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies efficiently.
Tax Compliance and Efficiency
Manage tax-related matters, including corporate tax, SST, and tax filing.
Liaise with tax consultants and authorities to ensure compliance and optimize tax planning.
Prepare and submit accurate tax documentation in a timely manner.
HR Support
Assist with HR-related issues, such as managing employee records, statutory submissions, and leave tracking.
Support recruitment and onboarding processes when required.
Act as a liaison for employee queries related to payroll and statutory compliance.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to gather financial data and ensure its accuracy.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications and Experience
A professional accounting qualification with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
Extensive experience in financial accounting, reporting, payroll management, and tax compliance.
Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
High proficiency in accounting software.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
