To work with & report directly to the Executive Architect / Project Director on all matters pertaining to the assigned projects and issues.
Provide technical guidance and pre-plan weekly / monthly project schedule to the Intermediate / Junior team members & monitor the junior team in compliance to the deadline given.
Prepare and present project, schedule / design proposals in compliance with all by-law requirements & design practicality - Independent approval & Reliable level.
Participate in project meetings, meeting with clients to determine their needs and requirements and align with company design vision & mission.
Attend regular meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialists, and conduct regular site visits to check on progress, record & prepare meeting minutes & meeting agenda.
Able to prepare a full set of comprehensive tender & construction drawings with solid specification knowledge with minimal supervising & checking.
Manage project teams and collaborate with other construction professionals.
Develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry innovations.
Conduct tenders, negotiations & awards, and administer building contracts.
Manage projects from concept development through to completion (CCC Stage).
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in architecture with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Aware of the principles of the Architect's responsibilities under the Architect Act and Code of Conduct.
Advanced proficiency in Autocad, SketchUp/Layout, MS Office Software, Photoshop, and/or other rendering software.
In-depth knowledge of building design, specifications, codes, and structural analysis.
Solid knowledge & understanding of construction/tender working drawings, building technology, building plan submission drawings.
Respond to builder and client queries during, before, and after construction in compliance with PAM contract conditions, ensuring client & company security from contract conditions.
Report & update project status progressively (weekly or daily) to the senior before the deadline or completion of tasks.
Able to start work immediately.
