Job Description – Senior Associate/ Manager, Sustainability (ISSB Reporting)

You should have 3 to 6 years of experience in management consulting within the sustainability or ESG sectors or hold a similar position in a related industry. As a Senior Associate or Manager, you will support PwC in client engagements and manage projects centred on Assurance and Reporting for PwC's Sustainability and Climate Change services.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Assisting in the adoption and transformation of ESG frameworks and processes.
Supporting the integration of ESG considerations into risk management frameworks.
Contributing to the measurement and reporting of ESG performance using data analytics.
Aiding in the development of net zero strategies and decarbonization roadmaps.
Participating in the creation of carbon value chain roadmaps.
Assisting with due diligence and verifications related to ESG issues.
Key responsibilities include:
Positioning PwC as a leader in ESG reporting and risk analysis in Malaysia, collaborating with global and regional teams.
Supporting business development through proposals and thought leadership initiatives.
Managing service delivery in ESG reporting and ISSB integration, conducting risk assessments, and developing strategies aligned with ISSB standards.
Conducting scenario analysis and quantitative risk assessments.
Organizing training sessions on ESG reporting and climate risk.
Staying informed on industry trends and conducting research to support client recommendations.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting high-quality client engagements.
Ensuring compliance with risk management procedures.
Ideal candidate will:
Preferably have a background in accounting or audit with knowledge of IFRSs and ISSB standards.
Be passionate about ESG issues and committed to making a positive impact in the corporate landscape.
Have at least 3 to 6 years of experience in ESG reporting or related fields.
Hold a degree in Accountancy, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or Economics.
Possess relevant professional certifications (e.g., ISCA, ACCA, CPA, CFA).
Be familiar with ESG frameworks such as ISSB, TCFD, and GRI.
Be proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, embodying PwC's values of integrity, making a difference, caring, collaboration, and innovation.
Be independent learners with strong analytical and project management skills, fostering a culture of teamwork and creativity.
