Senior Business AnalystPurpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in a managerial position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analyst responsibilities, operational excellence, and team management, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
Key Accountabilities
Leads the planning, design, and implementation of business requirements and system modifications in projects/initiatives.
Leads the business requirements gathering with relevant stakeholders. Analyzes and documents/reviews complex business process requirements and communicates with the relevant parties.
Creates/reviews complex test case scenarios to be used in testing, monitors, and reviews testing of applications to ensure requirements are incorporated.
Coordinates and manages business analyst tasks within projects, offering guidance and support. This may involve planning, allocating, and monitoring the work of other business analysts.
Actively participates in technical reviews to guarantee that change requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
Provides time estimates for tasks related to the project, assisting in effective planning and resource allocation.
Performs analysis on operational metrics and collaborates with stakeholders for improvement opportunities. This includes identifying & implementing initiatives for business efficiency and effectiveness.
Establishes datasets for periodic operational metrics reporting, leveraging tools such as Ms PowerBI.
Adapts and applies different delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean/Six Sigma.
Education and Experience
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration/business analytics/computer science/data analytics.
8 or more years of experience in a business analyst role, process improvement, data analyst, or similar capacity.
Proven experience in relationship management, business analysis, process improvement, and project management within a corporate environment.
Experience working in business processes and re-engineering including simplification, digitalization, and automation implementations.
Experience in new product and new distribution channel implementation.
Strong Financial Services or Insurance knowledge.
Proficiency in business process modeling, analysis tools, and methodologies.
Delivered projects using methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Preferred:
Good understanding/working experience in computer programming concepts and data analytics.
Good understanding of intelligent automation technologies and capabilities.
General insurance or CX/UI/UX domain capabilities.
Yellow Belt/Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification.
