Senior Commercial And Sales Management Engineer

Job Description: Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Type of hiring: Contract
Responsibilities: Assist the Head of Section with the negotiation, review, drafting, and finalisation of operational agreement contracts. Manage and oversee key operational agreements such as Power Purchase Agreements, Land Sublease Agreements, Water Supply Agreements, Common Facilities Agreements, Sulphur Sale Agreements, Rights of Way, Crossing Agreements, Construction and Tie-In Agreements (CTIA), and Land Use Agreements (LUA). Ensure effective management, implementation, and compliance with established operational and commercial contracts. Coordinate meetings related to interfaces and key operational agreements, both internally and externally, to facilitate discussions and formalise resolutions for commercial and technical support. Build and nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders, including Joint Venture Partners (JVPs), PETRONAS, local government bodies, communities, and business partners, to foster harmonious and efficient project planning and development. Develop and maintain a network with customers, including crude and gas buyers, as well as end users such as power plants and refineries. Qualifications: University degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry. Proven experience with operational agreements such as Power Purchase Agreements, Land Sublease Agreements, Water Supply Agreements, Common Facilities Agreements, Sulphur Sale Agreements, Rights of Way, Pipeline Crossing Agreements, Construction and Tie-In Agreements (CTIA), and Land Use Agreements (LUA). Demonstrated strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with major oil and gas projects. Experience in negotiating oil and gas contracts. Proficiency in both oral and written English. Familiarity with the Malaysian upstream oil & gas industry. Working knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
