Senior Cost Control Engineer

Job Purpose Collate and analyse project cost and other essential project data in order to deliver the most reliable project cost and project margin forecast.
Key Accountabilities Provide cost control support to assigned projects.Perform cost control data analysis, assess cost overruns, savings, update the project cost forecast and address any issue that arise.Support project organizational and administrative activities where appropriate.Liaise with Cost Control Manager to discuss the cost analysis, progress of the project and address all areas of concern.Gather project information with regards to budgetary cost i.e manpower / major equipment allocation and identify gaps or deficiencies during tendering & execution.Monitor project change order status with client and subcontractors.Monitor the project cash flow and ensure billing is performed in line with the contract and on timely basisCompile and consolidate monthly reports on Company projects and manpower / major equipment usage and highlight major issues.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of cost control methodology, processes and tools.Establish good relationship and cooperation with colleagues in the project team and in other departments.Autonomous, proactive, energetic and problem solver.Qualifications Degree in Engineering or equivalent7 to 10 years working experience within oil & gas / petrochemical industries preferably with EPC experienceExperience in planning and scheduling for projects is an added advantageExperience at the construction site is an added advantageGood interpersonal skills
