Job Description
In your new role you will:
Accountable for one or more global procurement categories and its suppliers (total > 250M$ annual spend), acting as the main interface to major suppliers.
Develop and implement category/supplier strategies, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Divisions, OP) as well as other Procurement job sub-families.
Define, monitor, and act on related KPIs (e.g., savings, payment terms, etc.).
Source competitively in global markets for the best suppliers and solutions that fulfill Infineon's product & cost requirements, leading major global negotiations & contracting.
Apply best-in-class procurement methods, e.g., cost modeling, benchmarking, advanced negotiation methods, design for sourcing, monetized TCO, to enable comprehensive value analysis, negotiation events, and decision making.
Utilize market intelligence to build resilient supply chains (including managing supply crises & recovery) and optimize the TCO.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Knowledge and skills are generally acquired through:
15+ years relevant working experience, with 5+ years of relevant management experience.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain covering significant spend (> 100M EUR) or scope (number of suppliers, volumes, number of products).
Multi-year experience working with OSATs.
Experience in Assembly, Test, and BE manufacturing processes.
Experience with contract management and contract process ownership.
Experience in improvement processes.
Experience in benchmarking, best practice sharing, business cases, and product cost analysis.
Experience with quality management, pCN, and change processes.
