SENIOR TEST MAINTENANCE ENGINEERJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test Equipment Control and Maintenance - To establish the tester capability and maintain tester functionality and software revision.
To fully understand the necessary controls, tester maintenance, precautions, setup parameters to meet the product specification.
Responsible for transfer and qualification of test equipment and requirements for new products.
Ensure all test hardware & equipment operating at optimal level and minimize test equipment down time.
Responsible for the periodic preventive maintenance of test equipment.
Evaluate test equipment and hardware, sets equipment control/verification specifications and qualify related tests and recommend to improve the process / production.
Responsible for test time reduction, process simplification and elimination, tester reliability enhancement, equipment conversion simplification/elimination, minimizing over rejection on tester, improve performance of tester, etc.
Responsible to conduct gage repeatability & reliability studies, correlation studies as well as actions to improve both these capabilities of the tester.
Test process simplification/elimination, test time reduction, equipment conversion simplification.
Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork.
Emotional intelligence.
Derive Continual Improvement and use of resources.
Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering/Computer Science.
At least 1 year of Equipment Maintenance/Testing experience & testing methodologies.
Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data.
Strong interest in computer hardware engineering.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop software and components.
Experience in equipment's Total Control Methodology.
