Job ResponsibilitiesProvide necessary legal advice and support to the Management and internal divisions/departments/units to ensure legal and other issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
Ensure legal considerations are integrated into decision-making processes throughout relevant project lifecycle.
Prepare and/or review draft contracts, agreements in relation to construction, sales, outsourcing partners, service agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Memorandum of Understandings, letters, policies, procedures (internal and external) and all other legal documents for internal and external parties.
Liaise and coordinate with external lawyers and stakeholders related to legal matters.
Continuously review the PR1MA Act 2012 to ensure the processes are available and in order.
Ensure all legal appointments are done in a timely manner and within the budgeted or approved costs.
Coordinate/supervise any litigation action against or for the organization.
Provide assistance in risk or any corporate governance related areas.
Attend/conduct hearings before the Housing Tribunal across Malaysia.
Attend meetings and discussions with Management, external lawyers, PR1MA vendors, bankers, relevant authorities (including ministries) to discuss, resolve or finalize any issues.
Conduct legal research and keep abreast with development and updates in relevant laws and regulations applicable to the business.
Attend to all other general legal duties.
To execute any work as and when instructed by head of department or any other senior management of the organization.#J-18808-Ljbffr
