Senior Executive, Non-Motor Liability ClaimsProvide quality (prompt & fair) claims services to meet customers' satisfaction.
Comply with all claims processes, procedures, policies and guidelines as stipulated in the Claims Manual, authorities' guidelines or instructions from superiors.
Preparation of claims listing and update status on claims as and when required.
The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Handle, process and approve claims within own authority limit/escalate claims approval above authority limit to relevant superior for approval in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
Handle claims in a professional manner to maintain the Company's reputation for high quality service and customers' satisfaction (prompt and fair dealings) in accordance with the Company's Claims Service Standard and BNM's Guidelines on Claims Settlement Practices.
Assign adjuster on a timely manner & attending to the adjuster report & correspondence to ensure the reserve is updated and relevant action is taken in accordance with the Company's guidelines/practices and the claims data input is accurate.
Assign solicitors to defend the claims when necessary.
Review all outstanding claims on a regular basis (at least once a year) to ensure claims reserves are adequate and any outstanding actions are taken up accordingly.
Preparation of status report to support the underwriting and business department in their business and underwriting decision.
Verify and approve claim payments within authority limit and escalate claims payment exceeding authority limit to relevant superior for approval.
Seek recovery of excess with Insured and follow up on a regular basis.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Specification:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or insurance related qualification.
Minimum 4 years specializing in Non-Motor Liability claims.
Highly effective communicator in English, both verbal and written.
Good in negotiation and fair computer knowledge.#J-18808-Ljbffr
