The incumbent reports directly to the Manager of Operations. The Senior Executive is responsible for assisting the Manager in handling, executing, and monitoring daily operational tasks within the Assets & Accounts unit, managing the Settlement, Corporate Actions, Client Accounts, Cash withdrawal/deposit, and other operational matters.
The main responsibilities of the Senior Executive will include efficiently prioritizing, monitoring, executing, and attending to daily and ad-hoc tasks until completion, ensuring the accuracy of each task performed meets expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process all operational processes for corporate actions, client accounts (opening, updating, closing), settlement of accounts, withdrawal and deposit requests within the timeline.
Understand market practices for both Bursa and Foreign markets.
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of equity trades by coordinating with custodians.
Verify trade details to prevent discrepancies. Process confirmations and manage trade matching and settlement processes to minimize failed trades.
Ensure daily tasks are attended to timely and escalate any issues to the Manager.
Follow up on incomplete requests regarding client accounts and subscription details, ensuring accuracy for corporate actions and forwarding to the supervisor for further action.
Monitor each type of corporate action and client account to ensure they are tracked to completion.
Ensure that funds received from customers are sighted and processed, and withdrawal requests are processed timely.
Perform daily reconciliation of settlements for corporate actions.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to juniors regarding related job functions.
Suggest new system enhancements/Kaizen ideas to the Manager to improve operational process flow and ensure implementations, if any.
Perform any tasks assigned by the superior as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of working experience in stockbroking, securities operations, investment banking, or fund services operation.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to conduct simulations and troubleshoot reported cases.
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and very hands-on.
Proficient with MS Office and Excel.
Ability to handle queries and issues in a timely manner.
Willingness and ability to work night shifts.
