The talent will be responsible for performing the following mission:
Lead research undertaking market research and surveys for newly proposed products.
Work closely with team members to develop differentiated products.
Manage cross-department relationships and ensure strategic business propositions & aspirations of the Bank are realized.
Ensure that the Islamic products are compliant with Shariah, legal, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Formulate processes and procedures for Shariah-compliant products and services.
Research to maintain competitiveness of the product suite and assess marketability of new products to be developed.
Prepare product proposals and obtain approval or endorsement from all relevant approving authorities.
Draft product documentation, including vetting materials provided by stakeholders.
Provide training and briefing sessions to the lines of business and operation teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders for initiatives and the launch of new or Shariah-compliant products.
Manage all product requirements including system fixes and enhancements and implementation of regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Attend to audit inquiries and issues relevant to the product management team and/or products developed and managed within the department.
Provide assistance and guidance for relevant queries via the Islamic Helpdesk.
Execute ad-hoc projects.
Act as a liaison between departments as well as with external counterparties.
Assist in executing a strategic roadmap for products, considering market trends, customers' needs, and business goals.
Manage developed products by undertaking regular reviews as per the Bank's internal requirements.
Assist in enhancing existing processes, internal documentation, and propose efficient governing procedures to promote efficiencies.
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks deemed suitable and assigned by the Supervisor.

A bachelor's degree in relevant fields (Finance, Banking, Business Management, Economics)
General knowledge of conventional and Islamic banking products and practices
Well-versed with relevant regulations in Islamic Finance
Knowledge of sustainability, halal industry, or social finance will be an added value.
Experience in conducting market research and reading industry trends including fintech, sustainable, green/blue finance, and blended social finance will be a plus point.
