Key Responsibilities:
Provide regulatory, scientific, and nutrition support to the business unit.
Keep abreast of local and overseas regulatory knowledge.
Ensure compliance of raw materials, product recipes/formulations, labels, and communication materials with regulatory requirements in Malaysia, Brunei, and other identified markets.
This includes creating and maintaining product details, reviewing, and approving product labeling and communication materials.
Prepare and maintain documentation for labels, healthier choice applications, pre-market registrations, etc.
Assist in implementing validated action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
Ensure ingredients comply with halal requirements of JAKIM and provide technical assistance for halal certification of company products.
Support nutrition expertise in company products (beverage, dairy, ice cream, foods, and confectionery) to evaluate nutritional quality and identify improvement opportunities based on trends in public health, nutrition policies, guidelines, product usage, and competitor analysis.
Support manufacturing plants in water license and VHM applications.
Support any other tasks assigned as required.
