About the role
As the Senior Executive, Sales & Marketing at AWH Ventures Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and marketing efforts.
This full-time position is based in Pasir Gudang, Johor, and will involve developing and executing effective sales strategies to expand the company's customer base and market share.Job Description:
Identify new business opportunities and evaluate potential customers' needs.
Aggressively source and secure new accounts by offering freight forwarding and logistics services (road, sea, air).
Attend to all customer inquiries promptly and consistently.
Liaise with vendors (i.e., liner/carrier/3rd party transporter) to seek rates and negotiate.
Plan business solutions to meet customers' objectives and requirements.
Maintain professional relationships and effective communication with customers, internal departments, affiliate offices, and partners.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve gross profit and growth targets.
Plan effective sales visits, market insights, and report writing.
Liaise with local Customs and Other Government Agencies (OGA) for import and export processes.
Adhere to all transportation, freight forwarding, and shipping legislation requirements.
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
At least 2 to 5 years of working experience in sales, freight forwarding, and inland transport is required.
Pleasant personality with persuasive negotiation skills, result-oriented, and able to handle pressure.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, adaptable, able to learn and collaborate with all staff levels.
Good at organizing and work planning, able to multitask.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Own transport and willing to travel.
