Warehouse Operations Supervision:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient stock management, order fulfilment, and timely dispatch.
Monitor inventory levels, perform stock audits, and ensure proper record-keeping of goods in the warehouse.
Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring they are stored in proper locations.
Ensure all goods are properly labelled and stored according to safety and regulatory requirements.

Warehouse Operations Management:
Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including allocating tasks and monitoring performance.
Conduct training for staff on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and efficient handling of inventory.
Evaluate and assess team performance regularly, providing feedback and developing training plans.

Safety and Compliance:
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards related to warehouse operations, inventory handling, and material storage.
Conduct safety inspections and drills to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Inventory Management:
Ensure that inventory records are accurate and up to date in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Coordinate stock replenishment, ensuring minimal stockouts or overstock situations.
Oversee stock rotation, especially for perishable or time-sensitive goods.

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains within warehouse operations.
Work with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales) to streamline workflows and resolve operational issues.

Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory status, and performance metrics to management.
Ensure all documentation related to inventory movements, receipts, and dispatches is accurate and maintained.
Liaise with vendors, transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and efficient logistics operations.
Address any issues related to shipments, returns, and damaged goods.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics are a plus.
Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience in managing inventory, overseeing warehouse operations, and leading a team.
Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and other departments.
Knowledge of lean warehouse management principles and continuous improvement strategies.
