Job Purpose You will be responsible for the preparation of accounts and monitoring financial outcomes to ensure compliance to the statutory requirements of the Financial Reporting Standards and tax legislations.
Responsibilities Prepare and maintain full set of accounts of companies assigned and perform month-end closing within the timeline required Prepare group consolidation Prepare management accounts, reports, balance sheet reconciliations/schedules in a timely and accurate manner Work closely with the accounting team to evaluate financial data and performance as well as provide analysis of the variances Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers as required, and assist with the preparation of audited accounts, corporate tax returns and other related annual submissions. Ensure the performance of daily accounting operations complies to internal procedures and statutory requirements Ensure timely billings (where relevant), recordings, and payments
Maintain organized documentation and filing of records to support all accounting entries Assist and provide guidance and support to other departments on finance/accounts-related information as necessary Assume and carry out ad-hoc accounting projects or assignments Requirements A Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accountancy or professional qualification in Accounting Minimum of 3 - 4 years of finance and accounting experience preferably in the property industry Must be able to, and have experience, in handling full set of accounts Good analytical skills is essential Organized and attention to details Ability to deliver on set objectives within given deadlines and work under minimal supervision Good communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills Proficient in the use of MS Office applications Resourceful, fast learner with a positive working attitude A team player
