Key Responsibilities:Financial Closing & Reporting
Lead the monthly financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
Prepare and submit periodical financial reports in accordance with deadlines.
General Ledger & Accounting Records
Maintain proper and up-to-date accounting records and a systematic filing system.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions in the general ledger.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Manage cash flow and ensure all accounts are reconciled in a timely manner.
Banking & Treasury
Reconcile bank and merchant statements regularly.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Reconciliation & Issue Resolution
Conduct accounts reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and follow up on reconciling items or unresolved issues.
Investigate and resolve outstanding matters in collaboration with relevant departments.
Audit & Tax Support
Assist with audit preparations, including providing necessary documentation and answering audit queries.
Support the preparation and submission of tax-related documents and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Liaise with internal departments (finance, procurement, operations) and external parties (auditors, tax agents, bankers) to resolve accounting-related issues.
Act as a point of contact for accounting inquiries and external audits.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
Experience in managing general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
