Aspial Lifestyle Business Services ("ALBS") is an integral part of Aspial Group's finance organisation supporting the businesses Aspial Group operates in, including, but not limited to, retail and trading of jewellery and branded merchandise, financial services – pawnbroking and secured lending, real estate development and investment, and hospitality.
This newly created role manages the R2R portion of the Group's finance shared services team to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and reports to the Head of Finance shared services.
We are seeking two positions for talented individuals who are either expert in RTR (Record to Report)
RTR Job Responsibilities: Ensure all financial activities are completed timely and in accordance with corporate timeline, guidelines and policiesFinancial activities includes but not limited to: Preparation and posting of journalsMonthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities and reporting. This includes preparation of financial statements and schedulesPreparation of monthly reconciliation and schedulesAnalysis of accountsEnsure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial transactionsParticipate in process/continuous improvement initiativesWork closely with all stakeholders and as a team with other team members to ensure end deliverables and KPI are metPerform all other related tasks assigned from time to time by Team lead/Head of FSSCRequirements: Diploma, Degree holder in accounting and/or finance or professional qualifications.At least 3 years of working experience in a similar capacity within a shared services set-up, prefer experience in commercial retail backgroundMeticulous, analytical and a high degree of agility.Proactive in resolving matters, while being able to manage time effectively.Highly committed and able to work independently.Stakeholder influencing; strong in communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment are essential.Experience in Business central (Accounting software), RPA (Uipath) & retail sector is preferred
