We value individual differences and provide opportunities for you to contribute your unique perspective towards our collective goals.Responsibilities and Key OutcomesYou will be responsible for reviewing UI / UX designs, taking technical decisions, and ensuring their technical implementation in a suitable state-of-the-art technology stack.Developing according to modern coding, security, and tool standards, and implementing front-end architecture.Monitoring and improving frontend performance.You will always have an eye on technical innovations and evaluate them in terms of their usefulness for the platform.The team uses agile methodology, and you will work with methods like Scrum and pair programming in a global team.Within the team, as a multiplier, you will use your expertise to support a continuous exchange of knowledge and thus the further development of the team, ensuring efficient cooperation with external service providers.Job RequirementsEducation and Work ExperienceBachelor/Diploma in (business) informatics or completed IT training.Minimum 2 years of hands-on development experience in Angular (v.15+) is a must.Experience in creating responsive designs is a must.Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, CSS, HTML, and REST API (JSON) required.Experience in implementing and running frontends in cloud environments (AWS/Azure preferred) using CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and CDN technologies.Basic experience with regards to oAuth2 and npm.Agile mindset, proactive entrepreneurial action, good self-organized work organization, and teamwork in an agile environment, complemented by a strong innovation and customer orientation.Technical & Professional Knowledge (additional plus/nice to have skills)Knowledge of testing frameworks including Jest and Playwright.Ideally knowledge about SEO and server-side rendering.Ideally experience in developing web components.Beneficial:Web Services, Rest.HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON.GIT, Jira, and CI (Bitbucket, Bamboo & Concourse).Linux, SSH, Shell/Bash Scripting.Amazon AWS, Ansible, Terraform.At BASF, we create chemistry for a sustainable future.
