About the role
The Senior HR and Admin Executive is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day human resources and administrative functions of the company. This includes managing employee relations, payroll, recruitment, and office administration. A key responsibility of this role is to ensure standard procedures are followed by staff and approve staff claims while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong HR expertise, administrative skills, and attention to detail.
What you'll be doing
Manage the full HR life cycle, employee relations, performance management, and terminations
Maintain employee records and personnel files. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters
Oversee the administration of employee benefits, payroll, and other HR-related systems and processes
Collaborate with the management team to implement HR policies and procedures. Contribute to the development and execution of the company's HR strategy and initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address HR-related issues and opportunities
Provide support for payroll and benefits administration
Assist with the planning and coordination of HR-related events, training, and development programs
Administer HRDC submission and claims on training-related matters
Support in hotel bookings for employees and senior management when travelling
Ensure staff travel claims are in accordance with company policies and procedures
Responsible for office administration and maintenance (i.e., pantry area, office cleanliness, furniture and fittings), supervision of cleaners and office repair works where applicable
Support in other HR and office administration work and reports from time to time or as instructed
Provide administrative support for various company events and activities
What we're looking for
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
Proactive, resourceful, very hands-on, meticulous, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable and comfortable with navigating change in a growing organization
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, or a person with knowledge from work experience
