Become a key member of our HR team, reporting directly to the Head, People & Culture. You'll play a vital role in influencing and implementing end-to-end HR strategies, streamlining day-to-day operations, and contributing to a world-class employee experience. The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for various HR tasks such as implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour, employment laws, and regulatory requirements, and overseeing performance management processes. They will work closely with the business to support the organization's strategic goals and foster a positive work environment.
Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and challenges, translating them into actionable HR strategies and solutions. Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of the HR lifecycle including performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and learning and development. Develop, implement, and manage HR programs and initiatives that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement. Manage employee relations issues with professionalism and tact, fostering a positive and respectful work environment. Stay up-to-date on all applicable labor, employment laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including employees, managers, and executives. Coach and mentor HR colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Analyze HR metrics and data to measure the effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement. Partner with the HR team to develop and deliver HR programs and initiatives. To thrive in this role, you'll possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a progressive HR generalist or business partner role. Proven track record of success in achieving strategic goals. Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and best practices. In-depth knowledge of labor, employment laws, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Proficiency in Workday or HR information systems (HRIS) a plus.
