This role is responsible for supporting research on employee motives and the implementation of appealing benefits tailored to their needs.
Ultimately, you will assist in building fair and attractive compensation and benefits plans that help to improve employee satisfaction and create a productive workplace.
You are also required to perform Performance Management reviews, Contracts renewal reviews, Policy review, and payrolls.
Responsibilities
Assist HR Manager to plan and implement fair and competitive compensation packages and rewards programs for all levels of staff.
Develop and manage Gantt chart timeline for all tasks assigned in compensation and benefits.
Assist in market research on compensation and benefits trends in the industry.
Support ensuring pay and benefit structure of the organization aligns with compliance with statutory requirements.
Record and report on the effectiveness of current employee benefits plans.
Suggest possible courses of action to improve existing plans.
Process payroll administration for onboarding, offboarding, and contract renewal.
Keep track of employment records and ensure they are updated before the cut-off date of payroll processing.
Assist in conducting annual performance appraisals.
Support distribution of pay and benefits information to employees.
Ensure all employees are covered by insurance and the issuance of medical insurance for GHS card.
Respond to any internal and external Compensation and Benefits related inquiries.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior and/or management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration , or other equivalent fields.
Minimum5 years of HR working experiencein Payroll or Compensation and Benefits.
Knowledgeable about labor law and HR best practices.
Ability to conduct job evaluation and job analysis systems.
Hands-on experience with Human Resource systems, databases, and metrics.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
Motivated with a passion for performance-oriented work processes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Technologically savvy and computer literate.
