Job Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the implementation of Procurement & Sourcing Strategies.
Develop Annual Sourcing Business Plans that will reflect year-over-year cost reductions.
Provide strategic influence while building value-adding relationships with key suppliers and internal customer groups.
Develop, implement, and manage processes for supply-related problem resolution.
Identify and work closely with Vendor Engineering, Buyers, and Procurement Manager, Global Sourcing, and individuals from other divisions/plants to identify and execute Cost Reduction opportunities.
Optimize the sourcing and procurement processes.
Review, assess, and maintain a baseline costing model for the key spend items in each commodity.
Support the creation, approval, and implementation of new company-wide policies.
Identify, implement, and support enabling technologies throughout the entire requisition to payment process.
Job Requirements:
Candidates require at least a bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field.
5-8 years' experience as a direct/indirect buyer.
Candidates with a logistics background will be preferred.
Experience in project and Change Management.
Candidates with experience in ESG will be preferred.
Skills: SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to organize and present data/information to influence decision-making, primarily to internal audiences.
