About the roleSunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a talented and drivenSenior Learning & Development Executiveto join our dynamic team.
This full-time role is based in Kuala Lumpur and will play a crucial part in shaping the learning and development initiatives for our hotel.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing comprehensive training programmes to upskill and empower our employees
Identifying training needs across the organisation and designing tailored solutions to address them
Delivering engaging and impactful training sessions, workshops and seminars
Maintaining training records and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives
Collaborating with departmental heads to align training goals with business objectives
Researching industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our learning and development offering
Mentoring and coaching junior members of the learning and development team
Liaising with educational institutions, training organizations, professional organizations, and government agencies on training and development programs for employees
Assisting the Human Resources Department in coordinating HR events, such as the Annual Dinner, Employee of the Quarter, Staff Appreciation Day, Family Day, etc.
What we're looking for
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a learning and development role, preferably within the hospitality industry
Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering effective training programmes
Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally
Proficiency in identifying training needs and translating them into practical solutions
A creative and innovative mindset to continuously improve the learning experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, training or a related field
