We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Legal Executive to join our legal department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a team of professionals dedicated to ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risks across various aspects of our operations.
Job Responsibilities:Provide legal advisory in all aspects of the organization's business.
Review and advise on procurement and commercial agreements.
Manage potential disputes and litigation matters.
Assist with company secretarial tasks.
Draft and implement policies and procedures.
Keep stakeholders updated on the latest legal developments.
Assist with legal regulatory compliance functions.
Liaise with relevant governance authorities.
Perform administrative tasks as necessary.
Job Requirements:Degree in Law and Certified Legal Practice (CLP) qualified.
ICSA certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in private practice and/or reputable listed firms (litigation or corporate practice).
In-house experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, authorities, and external parties.
Experience in drafting, vetting, and familiarity with company and commercial laws.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Willingness to travel with own transport.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to write constructive reports.

This refinery produces a comprehensive range of petroleum products, some 90% of which are consumed within Malaysia, and has a licensed production capacity of 156,000 barrels per day.
