TheSenior Manager, Credit Managementis responsible for overseeing the KL Credit Management team and enhancing the credit risk management framework within the organization, ensuring robust credit policies, risk assessment methodologies, and effective credit control measures.
In addition, this role requires project management experience to minimize credit risk exposure while supporting the company's financial objectives and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Overseeing and managing a team of project managers, portfolio of projects and programs.
Ensuring successful delivery across multiple projects through managing and monitoring project plans, milestones, risk and change management.
Conducting regular work group meetings and providing project progress and status reports to stakeholders.
Liaising with Singapore Head Office as a single point of contact and overseeing the KL Credit Management team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Creating and managing credit policies to control risk, set risk limits, and ensure compliance with regulations and goals.
Developing and implementing strategies for effective debt collection and recovery and supporting annual budgets exercise.
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of credit analysts and managers through fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Supporting resource allocation to ensure credit management function operates efficiently.
Acting as the primary point of contact for senior management and other stakeholders by providing insights and recommendations on credit-related matters.
Identifying opportunities to improve credit management processes and practices.
Implementing best practices and new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Addressing and resolving any issues related to credit risk, including non-performing loans and defaults, and developing strategies to manage and recover from credit crises.
Skills for Success
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent from a reputable institution.
(Minimum GPA of 3.0).
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in AR or related field with experience in leadership roles; prior experience in call centre management is welcome.
Familiarity with Telco billing and collections practices is a plus.
Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles and proven UAT Project Management Experience.
Experience leading a team of more than 8 staff and overseeing AR operations.
Familiarity with credit and compliance requirements and understanding of industry standards and best practices.
Experience with credit management software and systems (e.g., SAP S/4Hana, COGNOS, EDW etc.).
Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI etc.).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle difficult conversations with customers diplomatically.
Patience in resolving issues and following up on overdue accounts.
Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data privacy.
