OVERVIEW
Responsible for the preparation of monthly management reports to meet the reporting deadlines.
Lead the operation of reporting, taxation, transfer pricing, and master data maintenance.
Provide mentoring and guidance to managers and executives to carry out their roles and responsibilities fully, timely, and effectively.
Provide management with financial and operating statements and reports to allow the review of the Company's financial performance and position.
Ensure that the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports are reported in a timely manner.
Lead and manage day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth operation of the Record to Report function.
Ensure compliance with statutory and other regulatory requirements including accounting, tax, legal, and secretarial duties.
Ensure effective asset management and inventory control are always in place.
Ensure the department's practices comply with the company's policy and procedures and meet relevant regulatory requirements.
Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting to relevant statutory reporting requirements.
Preparation of annual budget, reviewing, and analyzing financial data and performance.
Train and coach subordinates.
Set KPIs and conduct performance appraisals on subordinates.
Liaise with tax agents, external and internal auditors, and relevant regulatory authorities.
Take lead roles in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the company's ERP system and that all reports generated are accurate and in accordance with financial reporting standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification in accounting, i.e., CPA, ACCA, or CIMA or its equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience.
Working experience in a manufacturing outfit, preferably with fast-moving products.
Proficient in the requirements of MFRS and costing methods.
Working experience in integrated real-time ERP systems is a must.
Hands-on experience and knowledge in import and export documentation, customs procedures, indirect taxes (VAT, GST, and SST), and transfer pricing management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
