A Snapshot
As a Senior Finance Manager reporting to the Financial Controller (APAC), you will work closely with the rest of the Finance team, making an impact in a number of ways:
You will be a pivotal member of a lean and efficient finance team, capable of supporting the growth of a dynamic business in new markets whilst maintaining appropriate financial governance and controls.
You will be responsible for the financial reporting requirements of the Group's APAC operations with a focus on the Malaysian market – including but not limited to managing the financial year-end close as well as local and regional audits.
You will be instrumental in helping AirTrunk define leading practice and drive key improvements through simplification and standardisation by collaborating with other teams within Finance including Finance Operations, FP&A, Tax and cross functionally with other leaders at AirTrunk including Legal, Development, Technology and Operations teams.

Your Day to Day
Review and, where required, perform financial accounting and controlling duties.
Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regional statutory reporting requirements, including managing external audits and relevant statistical reports.
Manage regional income tax compliance obligations, including project execution of special purpose studies with tax consultants.
Support Group's regional financing arrangements on covenant reporting and various other information undertakings.
Enhance financial controls by implementing, enforcing, and strengthening a robust system of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Assist with other ad hoc projects and duties as required.
Requirements
10 to 15 years of work experience in financial reporting (prior big 4 audit experience advantageous), with 3 to 5 years of managerial experience.
Proactive problem solver that is open to getting their hands dirty to figure out a solution.
Experience with new ventures into various APAC markets including Malaysia.
Possess excellent organisation and communication skills.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Driven, passionate about learning and developing new skills.
