Senior Manager/Manager - Accounts and Finance (Property Developer)Oversee the operation of the Accounts & Finance Department, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards in financial reporting.
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasting requirements, and managing expenditures.
Analyze variance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial closings, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial statements.
Handle full set of accounts, ensuring timely preparation of financial reports, schedules, and related documentation.
Oversee daily accounting operations, including processing transactions, issuing cheques, updating ledgers, and managing budgets.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, secretaries, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring efficient financial resource utilization to maximize returns on property development projects.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, providing comprehensive financial analysis and insights to senior management.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports, tax returns, and compliance with tax regulations.
Implement tax planning strategies and ensure proper management of transfer pricing policies within the company.
Regularly review internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard the company's assets.
Collaborate with internal departments and external parties, such as bankers, auditors, suppliers, to ensure smooth department operations and resolve any financial issues.
Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls and procedures to maintain high standards of financial integrity.
Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to the finance team, identifying opportunities for professional development and growth.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
Possess a Diploma/ Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking.
Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in a related field (Property Developer/Construction company will be an added advantage).
Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
