Senior Manager of Business Strategy and AnalyticsTo support the Business Strategy and Analytics department in managing and analyzing the insurance industrial data to derive meaningful insights for all relevant stakeholders.
To develop, plan and collaborate with other department heads for Board submissions and other relevant submissions.
To perform analytics of any relevant trends and statistics on external sources to support analysis of internal data.
To explore and consolidate data from all data sources into a single data repository.
To prepare and present regular reports with industry insights to Management and support with relevant recommendations to facilitate informed and timely decision making.
To support in establishment of data governance framework and best practices.
To support in projects from other departments/Senior Management Team, including regulatory and sustainability related projects.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or Professional Certificates in Actuarial Science, Data Science or any other related fields (e.g.
Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, etc.)
At least 5 years' of relevant experience in the financial services sector (preferably within the general insurance industry)
Strong experience working with large data sets and databases, advanced data handling and manipulation skills and proficiency in data visualization tools
Excellent strategic thinking, critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with passion on business strategy and analytics
Excellent communication skill in English (both written and oral)
Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Presentation skills as well as strong leadership and management skills.
Knowledge of data and modelling tools such as Python, SQL, R will be added advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
