Job Summary:
The Senior Manager-Project and Facilities Management is responsible for leading & overseeing the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of multiple facilities or properties ensuring optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. The Senior Manager will also be the main liaison person managing the HQ (TRX) facilities portfolio.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management:
Plan and prepare projects from inception, including site surveys, value engineering, and risk assessment, while securing project budgets and timelines.
Strengthen internal routines and communication between departments to ensure smooth project planning and execution.
Follow up on project progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Build long-term partnerships with suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
Optimize planning and follow-up tools, driving improvement actions.
Manage project timelines and budgets, keeping stakeholders informed.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality aligns with brand standards.
Provide technical support for property selection and feasibility studies.
Facilities Management:
Oversee daily facilities operations, including maintenance, ensuring effective service delivery.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Prepare and manage the facilities budget, monitoring expenses.
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Plan and optimize the use of space within the facilities.
Manage facilities-related projects, including renovations and improvements.
Supervise and mentor maintenance and facilities staff.
Prepare regular reports on facilities operations and budget status.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage both CAPEX and OPEX property budget.
Monitor project costs and report any budget discrepancies.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the main contact between the property team and local department units.
Keep stakeholders updated on facilities and project progress.
Reporting & Governance:
Provide accurate reports on facilities status and project progress.
Ensure all property activities comply with company policies.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Strong communication skills and high sense of urgency.
Ability to prioritize under pressure and tight deadlines.
Comfortable managing several stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
Positive attitude, embrace challenges, and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in project & facilities management.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
