Oversee the design, layout planning, scheduling, and product selection for the project, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure design and construction expertise.
Collaborate effectively with the Sales and Marketing team to develop market-appropriate products.
Provide expert advice on the design, planning, and management of architectural, civil, and structural construction projects.
Review and comment on consultants' detailed drawings, plans, schedules, and cost estimates for construction and engineering work.
Ensure cost optimization by thoroughly checking consultants' design and construction plans.
Liaise effectively with consultants and contractors to prepare and manage contract documentation (from tender process to award) and oversee contract implementation (site matters through to project completion).
Regularly monitor site activities to ensure construction progresses according to the planned schedule and budget.
Coordinate with subcontractors to track progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to required specifications and standards.
Conduct inspections, measurements, and surveys to control quality and ensure compliance.
Evaluate the technical feasibility of new projects, including those in the planning, tendering, or pre-qualification stages.
Maintain effective communication with consultants, liaison teams, subcontractors, and relevant government authorities to ensure design compliance and meet delivery objectives.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in a Civil and Structural related discipline.
At least 10 to 15 years of project planning and development experience within the property industry especially on infrastructure, landed, high-rise and integrated residential/commercial development.
Independent, resourceful, quick learner with good interpersonal and communication skills
Clear career progression with the opportunity to promote innovation
Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
Self-motivated, resourceful, innovative, creative and can work effectively in a team
In-depth knowledge of guidelines and regulations set by the relevant authorities
Leadership qualities, and highly developed communication and good conceptual and analytical skills
Willing to travel outstation especially to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
