Job DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Establish the process capability and the capacity/productivity model.
Improve rework success rates and control scrap costs for DR8 Gen1/Gen1.5 and BBLC Gen2.
Enhance alignment process engineering capacity for DR8 Gen1/Gen1.5 and BBLC Gen 2 to achieve higher yield.
Focus on process yield, scrap reduction, and HPU improvement for 400G below, SWDM, and other legacy product lines.
Responsible for the process yields of the designated process.
Establish and implement all appropriate actions to improve the yields.
Conduct gage repeatability & reliability studies, correlation studies, and actions to improve both these capabilities.
Generate reaction plans for OOC situations.
Assist manufacturing personnel in operator training, qualification, and improving operator utilization and productivity as well as inventory reduction.
Communicate effectively with peers to enhance teamwork.
Derive continual improvement and utilize resources.
Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
Practice risk-based thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, company rules & regulations, and applicable codes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor or Master of Science/Engineering, preferably majoring in Electronics, Photonics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related industry and in a mass production environment.
Experience in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
Good computer literacy, especially in SPC related applications.
Exhibit strong data analytical skills with a hands-on working attitude.
Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes in the business needs of the company.
Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles is an added advantage.
