As part of the product development team, you will actively support the development and implementation process of a product or initiative under different distribution channels to align with the Company's overall product strategy.
Responsibilities:Assist in conceptualizing the product design, including obtaining ideas from the distribution force, reinsurers, market research, etc.
Conduct market research/intelligence frequently to determine the competitiveness of products being developed, including product, marketing, or underwriting campaigns.
Liaise with reinsurers on product idea/design and finalize all product requirements.
Assist in preparing materials needed for product approval and drafting policy contracts, PDS/SI, training material, and reviewing marketing materials.
Understand the product design and begin to scope out potential changes/enhancements needed to administer the product, involving respective departments in identifying potential gaps and solutions.
Assist in handling and facilitating all implementation with respective internal stakeholders.
Support in managing product and project timelines, including timeline planning, arranging UAT activities with respective system owners, preparation of user requirements, crafting of test plans, and performing UAT.
Prepare and submit UR needed to be raised by the Product team for new products, while monitoring other PIC members' submissions according to the agreed timeline.
Implement Day 2 tasks, which may include organizing and facilitating meetings for discussions on how best to implement Day 2 tasks, supporting UAT (if required), and managing the UAT timeline and deployment with OPUS and/or Imagine/Kite e-sub.
Handle the implementation of relevant sales tools as per new product developments.
Manage all ad-hoc assignments given by superiors.
Requirements:Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong project management abilities, able to monitor and manage multiple timelines.
Good interpersonal and relational skills, with strong networking abilities.
