Senior Product Technician (Based in Ipoh)Add expected salary to your profile for insights.
To assist the product engineer in achieving process/test yield target.
Coordinate special build request for new NPI build or alternate part qualification build.
Responsible for product transfer readiness and activities.
To provide technical support on process to ensure uninterrupted production.
Execute small improvement project to improve process performance and efficiency.
Monitoring reaction plans to improve product yield.
Do 'whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy.
Responsible for the overall product yields.
He/ she is responsible to establish and implement all appropriate actions to improve the yields.
Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical).
At least 5 years experience in related industry and in mass production environment.
With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data.
Able to work under pressure independently, multi-tasking and drive initiatives on product qualifications and improvements.
Understanding basic SPC, MES, mechanical drawing and Agile PLM.
Basic knowledge in laser components or Optical Transceiver are added advantage.
Knowledge on problem analysis and standard data analysis.
