Minimum RequirementsMinimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
Possess minimum 5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment. Those who have working experience in Polymer/Chemical/Petrochemical Plant is highly preferred;
Able to read/interpret technical drawing;
Possess knowledge and experience in Quality Management Standard/ISO (OHS, EMS). Knowledge and experience in IATF 16949, Automotive Quality Management System would be an added advantage.
Possess knowledge and experience in CAPEX management;
Possess manufacturing process and equipment knowledge;
Certified Environmental Professionals in Scrubber Operation (CePSO) and Bag Filter Operation (CePBFO) would be an added advantage;
Attention to detail, possess analytical skills, problem solving skills and report-writing skills.
Performance oriented with safety, cost and quality awareness minded.
Good communication skills, both written and spoken in English & Malay and interpersonal skills.
GENERAL DUTIES
Ensure overall operation is running smoothly and consistently by providing all reliable technical know-how to process operation.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Interface with EM for facility management and improvement;
Conduct troubleshooting of process upset;
Conduct investigation and countermeasure of customer complaint and feedback;
Confirm appropriate Operation Instruction Sheet (OIS) issuance for production activity;
Analyse, investigate and conduct corrective and preventive action for the monitoring item of key performance index and report into Engineer Monthly Report;
Propose and request for Capital Appropriate Request (CAR) and Resource Plan (RP);
Conduct feasibility study for preparation of debottleneck and expansion project;
Implement APQP for new grade development and process change, conduct trial run and generate trial run report;
Interface with QA for quality control management and improvement;
Provide support to other Engineers in terms of know how and guidance on their daily job;
Responsible as Competent Person for monitoring, maintaining and reporting related to Air Pollution Control System (Scrubber and Bag Filter);
Other responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time.
