Objective: Leading in production and material routine planning for both PMA Manufacturing and QuantumTec operation in order to meet production targets, on-time delivery and elevate production output efficiency.
Specific Duties: Working cohesively with the entire Team to provide effective support to meet the organization's objective.Responsible to monitor Inventory on a daily basis to ensure no shortages for production to ensure continue productivity. Coordinates schedule of activities with customer on planning, scheduling, shipping and material acquisition.Produces revenue analysis and annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports.Conducts special studies, investigations and analyses relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and yield improvements.Strategize and direct the overall master planning of production activities considering capacity constraints such as equipment, manpower, raw materials to meet sales forecast and/or customers' orders while meeting standards of safety and quality.Ensure production will optimise orders fulfilment and on-time delivery in accordance to sales forecasts or customer orders whilst minimize the imbalance parts working in collaboration with sales and purchasing depts. Identify challenges and opportunities, perform root cause analysis on variances and recommend improvement plans Manage the entire production scheduling at the plant encompassing optimal workforce utilisation taking into consideration the cost benefit of overtime cost against the production targets that has been set.Continuously review, monitor & analyse customer requirements, planning and actual production in order to achieve customer's satisfaction. Continuously drive improvements and operational excellence in the plant production planning to achieve a lean, streamlined and effective value chain hence optimising profitability.To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, production yield, product rework, rejection or non-conformance process procedures.Develops material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs. Utilizes models for determining material planning parameters for components.Ensuring the achievement of production targets. Plan the master production schedule in accordance with customers purchase orders demand.Assist in organizing Daily Operation Meeting to identify daily bottleneck and corrective action to achieve production daily target.Planning of material based on Build of Materials (BOM).Responsible to update PMS (Production Master Schedule) Report on a daily basis.To work with the production and purchasing teams closely to monitor and manage the production plan vs actual plan.Participating in monthly inventory cycle counts.Production achievement reports. Qualifications Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Good verbal and written skills in English and MandarinStrong leadership and management skills, able to work independently, highly motivated, able to multi-task and teamwork oriented.Good level of computer literacy & knowledge in store inventory management systemGood interpersonal skill, good decision maker and good communication skillsWilling to learn new system which is related to daily jobAble to communicate well with people at different levels in the organization.Has a positive working attitudeAnalytical, strategic and forward thinking.
