Role OverviewAs theSenior Program Officer, Program Development , you will play a crucial role in WUSC's global initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Design and Development : Lead and support the development of new programs, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring alignment with WUSC's mission and values.
Partnership Building : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with international partners, governments, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of programs.
Grant Management : Oversee the management of grants and funding, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required standards.
Monitoring and Evaluation : Provide strategic direction for monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, ensuring that program outcomes are tracked and measured effectively.
Advocacy and Representation : Represent WUSC at external events and forums, advocating for the organization's work and mission to a variety of stakeholders.
Who Should Apply?The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background ininternational development ,program management , andfundraising .
In particular, applicants should have:
Experience in Program Development : Expertise in designing and implementing global programs, particularly in education and development.
Strong Analytical and Communication Skills : The ability to manage complex projects, write compelling reports, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of Grants and Funding : Familiarity with the financial management of programs, including budgeting and reporting to funders.
Experience in the NGO Sector : A background in working with non-profit organizations or in international development settings is essential.
Fluency in English(written and verbal); French language skills would be an asset.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary : $64,500.00 – $76,000.00 annually, depending on experience.
Location : This position is remote, offering flexibility for candidates from various locations.
