Job Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, manage and implement large scale and complex projects (referred to as programs) with budgets above RM10 million and team sizes of more than 50 people.
Successfully manage large scale, complex, and high-cost projects to maximize organizational value.
Lead and manage teams of project members, including outsourced resources and vendors, ensuring successful project delivery within schedule, budget, and scope.
Communicate updates to Senior Management, PSC, Heads of SBG/SFG, and Board of Directors as needed regarding project/program progress and performance.
Maintain consistent application of RHB standard project management methodologies, processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and change requests.
Create strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally, influence stakeholder expectations, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Manage new strategic projects to meet project/program goals, including development of clear objectives, timelines, costs, and resources.
Initiate and set goals for projects/programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Manage strategic projects/programs across multiple countries in the region.
Lead teams of subject matter experts to produce architectural changes and technical solutions that meet project and business needs.
Deliver strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and implement large scale, complex, and high-cost projects successfully.
Coordinate the management of multiple related projects under a program level initiative.
Manage interdependencies and risks, driving resolutions of key issues and escalating as necessary.
Oversee all activities within the project/program management lifecycle, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and scope.
Effectively manage project/program budgets, closely monitoring and tracking costs incurred throughout the project/program.
Ensure project/program quality and embed quality processes where applicable.
Develop and execute an efficient communication strategy for engaging all levels of management within the team.
Build strong stakeholder relationships with internal senior management and external vendors/suppliers, aligning differing agendas with project/program objectives.
Manage and develop the project/program staffing plan, including hiring needs and recruitment processes.
Identify sourcing requirements for projects/programs and manage sourcing activities to align with set goals.
Oversee the test management team.
Manage supplier contracts, facilitating negotiation sessions and identifying areas for negotiation.
Provide administration, supervision, coaching, development, and performance management for staff within the team/section.
Develop and implement best practices for project-related tasks within the organization.
Establish and execute a governance framework, including audit and risk matters during project execution.
Regularly communicate project progress and status updates to the Board of Directors and relevant committees.
Provide accurate and up-to-date reporting to Group Project Management.
Requirements (Qualification/Experience/Skills):
Formal Education:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Business or a related discipline.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum 10 years' experience in project management and systems development lifecycle, with a successful track record in leading, managing, and delivering IT projects/programs.
At least 10 years of experience in a Banking/Financial Institution environment, demonstrating business acumen and strategic planning abilities.
8-10 years of experience in leading large IT program teams in Banking-related domains.

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodology.
